Join Chef Rodney Freidank for a special Table 301 Virtual Cook-Along Series event to benefit "Fall for Giving" - a new part of Fall for Greenville festivities this year.
Over the last two years Fall for Greenville has provided grant monies to local non-profits in the amounts of approximately $35,000 per year. In these difficult times, FFG wishes to continue to find ways to support our community.
This year the Fall for Greenville festival has gone virtual. As part of that shift, Fall for Greenville has recruited a variety of participants to take part in "Fall for Giving", a program to help generate those grant monies to support this year's local non-profit partners. Patrons can purchase private demonstration packages with 20% of the proceeds benefiting the five selected nonprofit beneficiaries. These proceeds will benefit Boy Scout Troop 260, Boy Scout Troop 266, Harvest Hope Food Bank, Newcomers of Greater Greenville and Vocal Matrix Show Chorus. This event is part of the Fall for Greenville "Demo for Donations" program.
Table 301 Corporate Chef Rodney Freidank is supporting "Fall for Giving" by conducting a special edition of Table 301's Virtual Cook-Along Dinner series on Wednesday, October 7.
During this virtual cooking class you will prepare homemade Pan-Seared Gnocchi (with Applewood Bacon, Butternut Squash, Fall Mushrooms, Arugula, Light Sage Cream Sauce) to serve 4 people. Our sommelier will even offer an optional wine pairing to add on to your meal. We've also included a homemade bread, salad and dessert options to add to your menu, if you choose.
Here's how it works:
- Order your Meal Ingredients Box by Monday, October 5 through ShopTable301.com or by calling Table 301 Catering & Kitchen at 864.271.8431.
- Pick up your box of ingredients on Tuesday, October 6 or Wednesday, October 7 from Table 301 Catering & Kitchen (22 East Court Street, Greenville, SC 29601). Pick up hours are Tuesday, 2pm - 6pm and Wednesday, 9am - 3pm. You will indicate your pickup time when you purchase your box.
- On Wednesday, October 7, log in at 6:30pm to cook along with the chef live by visiting the Table 301 Facebook Page (the live stream will appear in the Table 301 Facebook feed). Chef Rodney will give you a step-by-step guide to preparing your meal from the comfort of your own kitchen. You can even ask questions via chat. (Bonus - If you can’t cook along with the live stream, we’ll have the videos available so you can make the meals on your schedule.)
